Esta es la última semana de Sala Montjuïc 2009, el cine perfecto al aire libre. Durante el último mes se han presentado películas en una pantalla gigante en Montjuïc. Cada lunes miércoles y viernes se enseña una película de diferentes géneros en versión original. Todos los asistentes se acomodan en el césped y pueden alquilar una tumbona o llevar sillas propias. Antes del comienzo de la película hay música en vivo también. El espectáculo comienza a las 20:30 horas y vale 5 euros, se puede llegar a Montjuïc con un bus especial para el evento que se coge desde Plaza Espanya.

Movies in Montjuïc!

This is the last week of Sala Montjuïc 2009, the perfect open air movie theater. During the last month there have been movie showings on a giant screen on top of Montjuïc. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday movies from all types of different genres are shown in their original version. All those who assist take their place on the grassy area and can even rent a chair o bring one from home. Before the movie begins there is also live music playing. The show begins at 8:30 p.m. and costs 5 euros, with a special bus for the event that can be taken from Plaza Espanya.

This Sunday, July 26, there will be a tribute to Michael Jackson along La Rambla at 5:00 p.m. The very original tribute will consist of participants doing the legendary Moonwalk from Colon all the way to Plaza Catalunya. The event is being organized by one of MelonDistrict’s partners, Complot. Anyone wishing to participate must arrive in front of the Colon statue at 5:00 p.m. Complot encourages participants to also wear a white glove. Un Tributo al Rey del Pop

Este Domingo, 26 de Julio, habrá un tributo a Michael Jackson por La Rambla a las 17:00 hrs. El homenaje a Michael Jackson consistirá de una marcha de Colón a Plaza Catalunya al ritmo del legendario Moonwalk. El evento se esta organizando por una de nuestras escuelas colaboradoras, Complot. Quien deseé participar tiene que presentarse frente al monumento de Colón a las 17:00 hrs. Complot anima a todos los participantes a ir con un guante blanco. Después del éxito de las primeras jornadas de puertas abiertas, MelonDistrict Marina ha extendido los días en los cuales se ofrecen visitas por la residencia. Tendremos jornadas de puertas abiertas todas las mañanas de lunes a jueves a partir de las 10:00 hrs hasta las 14:00 hrs. Los viernes las jornadas de puertas abiertas seguirán siendo de las 10:00 hrs a las 19:00 hrs, y los sábados de las 10:00 hrs a las 18:00 hrs. Para asistir a una de las jornadas de puertas abiertas se requiere llamar a MelonDistrict (tel. +34 932178812) y concertar fecha y hora y alguien del equipo MelonDistrict te estará esperando para realizar el tour. MelonDistrict Extends its Open House Event!

After the success of the first open house events, MelonDistrict Marina has extended the days in which it offers tours of the residence hall. MelonDistrict will offer tours every morning Monday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The tours on Fridays will continue to be from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays we will offer tours from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In order to attend one of these open house events it is necessary that you call MelonDistrict and set up an appointment and a member of the MelonDistrict team will be waiting for you to take the tour.
