Todos los lunes nuestros amigos de Licoln The Link celebran la ya tradicional fiesta “We love Mondays” donde el sushi, excelentes dj’s y los partidos de la NFL a las 2hrs tienen lugar en el espectacular Opium Mar. Si te animas, este lunes a partir de las 11hrs presentate con tu tarjeta MelonDistrict y accede gratuitamente.
Y cada miercoles en el Razzmatazz (c/Almogavers 122) los estudiantes de las residencias MelonDistrict tienen entrada gratuita a la sesión “DIRTY DANCING”, sólo es necesario presentar la tarjeta-llave MelonDistrict con la foto en la puerta del Razzmatazz. On November 28th, 2009 MelonDistrict residents visit Girona & Figueres. They enjoy the fascinating world of Dali’s surrealism in Figueres and explore Girona’s medieval monuments on foot.
At the walking tour they discover the Gothic Cathedral; the misteries of the Jewish quartes and the Arabic Baths. By the other hand they have the opportunity to visit the Teatre-Museu Dalí in Figueres that contains the broadest range of works spanning the artistic carrer of Salvador Dali.

El pasado 28 de Noviembre 2009, los residentes de MelonDistrict visitaron Girona y Figueres. Todos ellos disfrutaron del fascinante mundo surralista de Dali en Figueres y pasearon por la monumental Girona medieval.
Tras el recorrido a pie por Girona, los estudiantes pudieron conocer la catedral gótica, los misterios del barrio judío y los baños árabes. Por otra parte tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar el Teatro- Museo Dali en Figueras que contiene el más amplio abanico de obras que describen la trayectoria artística de Salvador Dalí.

AND FOR EVERY WEEKEND
Every friday, saturday and before a holiday night, you can have free entrance from 01:00 to 02:00 just showing your MelonDistrict key-card.

La cadena de televisión catalana TV3 ha trasmitido el día de hoy, un reportaje sobre la nueva residencia de estudiantes, MelonDistrict Marina como parte del desarrollo del distrito 22@.
Estudiantes de diferentes partes del mundo participan en el reportaje ya que forman parte de lo que se convertírá en el 3er campus universitario de la ciudad de Barcelona, ya que el barrio acogerá a más de 25mil estudiantes.

TV3 BROADCAST AN INTERVIEW ABOUT MELONDISTRICT
The catalan Tv network, TV3, broadcast today an interview made to some MelonDistrict Marina students, as part of the 22@ district development.
Students from all over the world participate with their comentaries talking about the new residence and about how the neighborhood would be the 3rd campus in Barcelona, with more than 25.000 students in the district.

MELONDISTRICT DAY TRIP TO FIGUERES & GIRONA
MelonDistrict invites you to discover two major towns located in northern Catalonia: Figueres, with its landmark Teatre-Museu Dalí, and Girona, a monumental city, which is home to one of Europe’s best-preserved Jewish quarters.
Date: Saturday November 28th 2009
Meeting Hour: 8.15hr
Meeting Point: To be defined
Duration: From 8.30hrs to 20hrs
Language: The guided tour will be in Spanish (but the guide can answer your questions in English if is necessary)
The day trip includes: seat at the bus, ticket to the Teatro –Museo Dalí at Figueras and the exhibition “Dalí Joies”, guided tour to Girona.
The day trip do not include the meals, these will be paid by the student.
Price for the MelonDistrict resident: just 5€ to pay in cash at the front desk before 23hrs from Wednesday November 25th 2009.
IMPORTANT: The student needs to keep the receipt of the payment and show it before get in the bus.
LIMITED SEATS. Please confirm and pay at reception as soon as you can to assure your seat.
EXCURSION MELONDISTRICT A FIGUERES Y GIRONA
MelonDistrict te invita a descubrir dos grandes ciudades de Cataluña: Figueres, visitando el emblemático Teatro-Museo de Dalí y Girona paseando por uno de los barrios judíos mejor conservados de Europa.
Fecha: Sábado 28 de Noviembre 2009
Hora de encuentro: 8.15hr
Punto de encuentro: Aun por confirmar
Duración de la excursión: De 8.30hrs a 20hrs
Idioma: La visita guiada será en español (sin embargo el guía podrá contestar preguntas en inglés en caso necesario)
La excursión incluye: Plaza en autobús ida y vuelta, Entrada al Teatro –Museo Dalí en Figueras y a la exposición “Dalí Joies”, Visita guiada de Girona.
La excursión no incluye comidas, estas estarán a cargo del estudiante.
Coste para el residente MelonDistrict: sólo 5€ en efectivo a pagar en recepción antes de las 23hrs del miércoles 25 de Noviembre del 2009.
IMPORTANTE: El estudiante debe conservar el recibo del pago, el cual se presentará antes de subir al bus.
