In this blog, MelonDistrict proposes you a guide of the top 10 tourist attractions in Barcelona. This is the number 7.
Pablo Picasso was Spanish painter and sculptor. He was born in Malaga in 1881 and died in France in 1973. This genius of the art is considered to be one of the major artists of the 20th century. Picasso took part from the genesis of many artistic movements that propagated all over the world and exercised a great influence in other great artists of his time. He is the creator of the cubist movement with Georges Braque and Juan Gris. Today there are more than two thousand of his works present in museums and collections through Europe and the world.
The museum has arranged Picasso’s paintings in chronological order from his early days to his final works. Arranging the paintings in this way gives you a fascinating insight into the development of Picasso thinking over time and shows how he developed the distinctive designs that he is famous for today. Very popular art gallery.
