Ya son 20 años desde el que el grupo de rock punk Blink 182 se formó en California.
Con el tiempo se convirtió en uno de los grupos más emblemáticos de Norteamérica gracias a sus trabajos de estudio como “Cheshire Cat” (1994), “Dude Ranch” (1997), “Enema of the State” (1999), “Take Off your pants and jacket” (2001) y “Blink-182” (2003).

Con 27 millones de discos vendidos en todo el mundo, y después de unos años de separación, la banda vuelve éste 2012 de gira por Europa para presentar su sexto y más reciente álbum: “Neighborhoods”.

La cita será el próximo 19 de Julio en el Palau Sant Jordi de Barcelona, donde podrás escuchar, además de sus grandes éxitos, sus dos nuevos sencillos “Up all night” y “After Midnight”.

Un año más, las noches de verano en la ciudad Condal se llenarán de espectáculos teatrales, danza, circo y buena música gracias al Festival Grec de Barcelona.

El festival dará comienzo el día 30 de junio con una fiesta abierta al público, en la avenida de Lluís Companys (a un lado del parque de la Ciutadella), donde se podrá disfrutar de un espectáculo de la compañía de teatro aéreo Theater Tol y conciertos de la rumba-rock del grupo Troba Kung-Fúy la fusión mestiza de los Canteca de Macao.

En total serán 68 espectáculos celebrados durante todo el mes de Julio 2012 (del 1 al 31 de julio), concentrados mayormente en los escenarios de Montjuïc, aunque también contará con otros escenarios distribuidos por distintos puntos de la ciudad de Barcelona.

Once again, during the summer nights, Barcelona will be full of theatre, dance, circus and music performances thanks to the “Grec Festival”

The festival will begin on June 30th with a great free show, at the Avenue Lluís Companys (next to the Ciutadella Park), where you will be able to enjoy an aerial visual theatre group: “Theater Tol” and concerts of the Catalan rumba and rock of La Troba Kung-Fú and and the fusion of flamenco, reggae and ska of Canteca de Macao.

A total of 68 performances will be held during the month of July 2012 (from the 1st through the 31st July), concentrated mainly on the stages of Montjuïc, but also in some other scenarios of Barcelona.

Otro concierto que no te puedes perder en el mes de Junio es el del grupo de UB40 que se presentarán en la sala Razzmatazz de Barcelona el próximo 14 de Junio. Es cierto, que el concierto estaba programado para el mes de febrero pero debido a un problema que tuvo uno de los integrantes del grupo (Duncan Campbell) se vieron obligados a re-agendarlo.

UB40 es quizás de los grupos de reggae más famosas y de mayor éxito de todos los tiempos. Mucha gente probablemente no sabe esto, pero cuando el grupo recién comenzó en 1978 en Birmingham, Inglaterra, muchos de los miembros de la banda, estaban desempleados, y obtuvieron la inspiración para poner éste nombre del “formulario de petición de pago del seguro de desempleo” (Unemployment Benefit Form 40).
