Portishead, el trío de Bristol formado por Geoff Barrow, Gibbons Beth, y Adrian Utley, protagonizarán uno de los eventos más especiales de este verano en Barcelona.

Serán dos días consecutivos de concierto que comenzarán por la tarde en el Poble Espanyol los días 22 y 23 de Junio, y que se extenderán también toda la noche en la sala Razzmatazz.

Las bandas confirmadas que actuarán junto a Portishead en el Poble Espanyol son: King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, Thought Forms, MF DOOM, Thought Forms, la banda catalana Anímic y los españoles Cuchillo. En cuanto a la programación de ambas noches en la Sala Razzmatazz, por ahora están confirmados Beak, Bear in Heaven, Clark, Roll the Dice, Ikonika, Seams y Blanck Mass.

Razzmatazz y Estrella Damm ponen en marcha conjuntamente el ciclo de conciertos “Un altre Dijous” (“Otro Jueves” en castellano) en Barcelona.

Se trata de una serie de noches en los que un jueves al mes en la sala 3 de Razzmatazz, habrá cabida a artistas locales, bandas y djs. Un ciclo que no se cierra en ninguna frontera estilística, y pretende ser un escaparate musical dinamizador de la escena local, independientemente del estilo musical y del idioma empleado por los participantes. También quiere ser un punto de partida y encuentro por artistas y público afín, y ansioso de nuevas experiencias musicales.

En cada una de estas citas habrá dos conciertos en vivo y una sesión de dj, en el que se irá perfilando a modo de club musical mensual. El ciclo se pone en marcha el próximo jueves 24 de mayo con Seward + Narwhal + Sunny Grabas dj set y el 28 de junio con Nico Roig + Ferran Palau + Bar Vinil Dj residente.

Another Thursday in Razzmatazz club (“Un alter Dijous” in catalan)

Razzmatazz and Estrella Damm launched together a concert sets in Barcelona named “Un altre Dijous” (“Another Thursday” in english).
It’s about night sets which will be held one Thursday each month in the hall 3 of the Razzmatazz club; where local artists, bands and DJs will be performing. It is a set that doesn’t exclude any music style, and pretends to be a dynamic musical showcase of the local scene, regardless of musical style and language used by the participants. It also pretends to be the beginning of a meeting point for artists and audience, who are eager for new musical experiences.
