We have exciting news: we’ve all been upgraded!

Melon District Barcelona will become TSH CAMPUS, The Student Hotel’s student-only residence, in September 2017.

Our Melon District location in Paris will be rebranded to The Student Hotel Paris, following a full renovation of facilities, aligning with The Student Hotel concept, allowing clients to connect and inspire each other. The rebrand will come into effect in summer 2017.

    Melon District

    Melon District opened its first 97 rooms in a building on Barcelona’s famous Avinguda Paral·lel in September 2007.

    In September 2009, Melon District opened the biggest residence in Barcelona, with 500 rooms, in the 22@ district, the largest urban redevelopment project in the city. Following its success and the outstanding response it received in Barcelona, Melon District opened a new residence in Paris as part of its expansion plan.

    In 2017, Melon District officially became part of The Student Hotel portfolio and has been rebranded as TSH Campus, The Student Hotel’s first student-only residence.

    THE STUDENT HOTEL current locations include: Rotterdam, Amsterdam (City and West), The Hague, Groningen, and Eindhoven. In 2017 the Melon District properties in Barcelona and Paris will be upgraded with new facilities and services further integrating them into The Student Hotel group. The Student Hotel Florence and Maastricht and will open in 2017, Bologna and Madrid in 2018 and Berlin, Rome and Delft in 2019. The group plans to have 41 properties in European cities by 2021.

    Together with city government and property companies, vacant buildings or building plots in regeneration areas are identified and fast-tracked for development. From acquisition, rehabilitation to opening can therefore happen in as little as 12 months. Planning and development are supported by a team of international experts.
