1. BOOKINGS PROCEDURE
Booking requests must be sent to the MelonDistrict bookings department either by fax or via the room request form on the MelonDistrict website.
In that case, you must indicate the number and type of room required, as well as arrival and departure dates for each room.
The MelonDistrict bookings department will fax or e-mail you room availability for the requested dates, as well as rent cost, optional services prices and registration fee for each individual case.
Availability confirmation does not imply that the room is booked. Bookings will be confirmed only after payment of the registration fee, the extra services contracted for and the first rent instalment.
How to pay?
1.1 By bank transfer

The bank transfer confirmation receipt must be faxed to MelonDistrict® (+34 93 416 0845). All bank commissions are to be borne by the instructing party.
Upon reception of the transfer, MelonDistrict will send the instructing party a firm reservation confirmation.
1.2 By credit card:
The instructing party shall fax MelonDistrict® a signed authorisation document, indicating their credit card number with its expiry date and the amount to charge.
Once payment for the registration fee and the first rent instalment has been received, MelonDistrict will send the instructing party a firm booking confirmation.
The instructing party must fax or e-mail the following documents:
• Photocopy of ID card or passport
• Photocopy of student card and/or acceptance letter from the destination school, university or company.
The final step in the booking procedure is the payment of a security deposit equivalent to one month’s rent. This payment must be made at least 15 (fifteen) days before the arrival date.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made at least 2 (two) months prior to the student’s arrival date:
The first rent instalment and the payment of additional services, in the event that they have been contracted, will be refunded.
The registration fee will not be refunded.
Cancellations made within the 2 (two) months prior to the student’s arrival date:
The amounts paid for additional services contracted will be refunded.
The registration fee and the first month’s rent will not be refunded.
In both cases, the security deposit will be returned, in the event that it has been paid in.
In the event of early cancellation once the stay has begun, the resident will be required to give notice to MelonDistrict and present an official letter from his/her school, university or company, certifying that his/her course or company placement is to end earlier than anticipated.
This notice must be given at least 2 (two) months prior to the final cancellation date.
3. EXTENSION
The resident will be able to extend his/her stay as desired and at the same rent rate, provided a room with the same characteristics is available for the period requested.
4. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Only students who are of age (18 years old) at the start of the rental agreement can stay at MelonDistrict.
At the time of departure, the resident will pay MelonDistrict® for a cleaning service whose price will be established in the rental agreement.
MelonDistrict® reserves the right to relocate the resident to another room with the same characteristics should the need arise.
