Each Melon Flat (consisting of 9 or 10 rooms on the same floor) has a Cooking Lounge, a multipurpose, comfortable and well-appointed space shared with your 10 floormates. Here you can cook, watch TV or socialise in the chill-out area. This space is equipped with a fridge with private compartments, a freezer, an electric stove, a microwave, an electric oven, a 42-inch flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi internet access.

Refreshing Lounge
On the top floor at Melon District Poble Sec you can make use of the Refreshing Lounge, featuring a sun terrace, showers and a swimming pool. This open space is sure to appeal to those looking for a pleasant place in which to socialise, relax and enjoy social activities outdoors. Thanks to Barcelona’s famously warm climate, the swimming pool in the Refreshing Lounge is open throughout the summer months.

Melon Cafe
Fancy having breakfast with us this morning? The Melon Cafe is located on the ground floor and offers a breakfast service from Monday to Sunday from 7:30-10:30 a.m. Outside these times, you can make use of the vending machines, which offer hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Meeting Lounge
From 10:30 our Melon Cafe at Poble Sec becomes the Meeting Lounge, a place where you can meet up with other students or work and study with your laptop. A TV, internet-ready computers for quick use and Wi-Fi are all available in this space.
