Barcelona is the city of Gaudí, so a route taking in his top buildings is a must. Start off with a visit to the Casa Milà, better known as La Pedrera, and then stroll down to another of his most famous residential buildings, the Casa Batlló. Finish off the route at the Palau Güell . The latter was built as a home for the Güell family and is a UNESCO World Heritage list. The Sagrada Familia could obviously be added to the route, but given its location, it is better reached by bus or metro.
