Fête de la Musique
Summer season starts with a world known music festival: the Fête de la Musique, the biggest musical appointment of the year that takes place, not only in Paris but also in other cities in France.
Enjoy the concerts of jazz, rock, classical music, folk and other music genres that are held in public places, squares and gardens of the city.
Amateur musicians organize most of the concerts and you can enjoy them for free. In 2015, the music festival will be held on June 21.
The Night of the Museums
During May, Paris’ most important museums open their doors to night-owls culture lovers. A different way to enjoy the wonderful works of art at the Pompidou Centre or the Orsay Museum.
This year (2015) the night of the museums will be held on Saturday May 16.
La nuit blanche
